Note on NRI accounts. DealDepot does not currently offer NRI / NRE-PIS / NRO trading accounts. Resident clients who later acquire NRI status must inform us so the account can be appropriately re-classified or closed.

Account modification & service requests

Update contact, identity, banking or trading-segment details on an existing account. Most modifications are also available through the DealDepot app — only changes that require fresh signature, supporting proof or in-person verification need a physical form.

Account closure

Close your trading account, demat account, or both. Closure is free and is processed within 30 days of receipt of a complete request, subject to settlement of any outstanding obligations.

Trading account closure
Closes the trading account with DealDepot. Demat account can be retained separately or closed in parallel. Free funds in the ledger are credited to your registered bank account.

Demat account closure
Closes the NSDL demat account with DealDepot. Holdings, if any, must be transferred to another demat account before closure can be processed.

What to expect. Closure is at no cost. Pending settlement obligations, debit balances, open positions or pledged securities must be cleared before processing. Demat AMC for the closure year is not refunded. On successful closure, an acknowledgement is sent to your registered email.

How to submit a completed form

Most requests can be submitted by email; a few that require original signatures or document verification will need to come to the Mumbai office. We acknowledge receipt within one working day.

Scan the signed form along with required proofs and email to backoffice@dealdepot.in. We acknowledge within one working day with a service ticket reference.

Mode 02

In the DealDepot app

Where available, raise the request in-app under Account → Service Requests. Updates that allow it route through this path with no separate form needed.

Mode 03

Walk-in at Mumbai HO

1223, P J Towers, Dalal Street, Fort, Mumbai 400001. Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. Required for forms needing original signatures or in-person verification.
