What this register covers.
An Authorised Person ("AP") is an entity recognised by a Stock Exchange and appointed by a stockbroker (Trading Member) under SEBI regulations to provide services on behalf of the broker. The AP is not a sub-broker (a category that has been phased out) and is distinct from a branch office. Each AP is appointed for specific exchanges and segments and is allocated unique AP codes by the relevant Exchange.
The information published on this page is updated whenever an AP is appointed, terminated, or has their appointment cancelled. The register is maintained pursuant to NSE/COMP/56350 dated 13 April 2023 — Annexure A item 5 and is also reflected in the records maintained by NSE / BSE.
